The Oxnard Plain Collective – launch of the lens-based art collective of studying, post-grad and emerging artists with roots primarily in the Oxnard and El Rio region using CAM Studio Gallery as its base for critiques, production, skill sharing and exhibits. Guided by founding artist Jaime Bailon (El Rio) and mentored by artist/lead photographer Brian Paumier (Oxnard), this program also intersects with the CAM Studioship program.

Organized by Phil Taggart Ventura County Poet Laureate to continue the spirit of the Arcade Poetry Series established by late poet Jackson Wheeler (d. 2017). Hosted by Marsha de la O and supported by Poets & Writers, CAM Cornerstones and private donors.
Guest Poetry Readings (6 evening presentations) by published poets: January 13-Friday Gretchen and liz gonzalez; February 10- Veronica Reyes and Ellen Reich; March 24- William Mohr and

New Adjunct Student Program- a high school/college student is selected to do a reading of one of their poems at each Poetry at the Carnegie;and student admission is free.

The Oxnard Plain Collective – launch of the lens-based art collective of studying, post-grad and emerging artists with roots primarily in the Oxnard and El Rio region using CAM Studio Gallery as its base for critiques, production, skill sharing and exhibits. Guided by founding artist Jaime Bailon (El Rio) and mentored by artist/lead photographer Brian Paumier (Oxnard), this program also intersects with the CAM Studioship program.

Poetry At the Carnegie-The Jackson Wheeler Series
Organized by Phil Taggart Ventura County Poet Laureate to continue the spirit of the Arcade Poetry Series established by late poet Jackson Wheeler (d. 2017). Hosted by Marsha de la O and supported by Poets & Writers, CAM Cornerstones and private donors.
Guest Poetry Readings (6 evening presentations) by published poets: January 13-Friday Gretchen and liz gonzalez; February 10- Veronica Reyes and Ellen Reich; March 24- William Mohr and
Vincent Mowrey; April 14- Patty Syeburn and Dian Sousa; May 12- Kim Young and Sara Borjas; and June 23- Laura-Anne Bosselaar and Mary Ann McFadden.
New Adjunct Student Program- a high school/college student is selected to do a reading of one of their poems at each Poetry at the Carnegie;and student admission is free.
Education Programs
School Tours (68)- grades 1-12 exhibit tours with students from private schools and public school districts including Oxnard, Rio, Ocean View, Hueneme, Pleasant Valley and Oak Park. Also, hosted a day-long tour & workshop with Pacific High Art Academy Students (Teacher Debra Erdmann) winding up in a student pop-up exhibit.

Plaza Park Farmer’s Market Art Booth (4)- both outreach and art project class serving 80 children outdoors per Market Day
